Seven more grain ships leave Ukrainian ports – Infrastructure Ministry

7 ships carrying 248,000 tonnes of agricultural items for Asia and Europe have departed from Ukraine’s Black Sea ports.

Ukraine’s Infrastructure Ministry mentioned this in a statement on Telegram, Ukrinform experiences.

According to the ministry, 740,000 tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural products are getting loaded on to 19 a lot more ships.

In overall, 501 ships have delivered 12.2 million tonnes of grain and foodstuffs from Ukrainian ports to nations around the world in Asia, Europe and Africa since August 1.

Ukraine, Turkey and UN Secretary Common Antonio Guterres signed the Initiative on the Protected Transportation of Grain and Foodstuffs from the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi in Istanbul on July 22. The 1st ship with Ukrainian grain left the port of Odesa on August 1.

Ukraine, the United Nations and Turkey agreed in Istanbul on November 17 to increase the Black Sea Grain Initiative for a further 120 days.
