On Dec. 1,  parliament appointed Oleksandr Kubrakov, an unbiased politician, to the post of Deputy Primary Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine – Minister for the Progress of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure from his previous put up as Minister of Infrastructure. In his new placement, Kubrakov will be liable for the right after-war restoration of Ukraine.

This appointment also merges the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Communities and Territories Improvement to lower finances expenditures. There are several capabilities wherever the two ministries intersect, particularly European integration and the development of border spots. On the other hand, some features are radically different. In individual, in this new situation Kubrakov will be responsible for continuing decentralization reform, which was acknowledged in 2021 by the European Parliament for its good results.

Limited bio

Oleksandr Kubrakov was born on August 20, 1982, in Pershotravensk, Dnipropetrovsk, analyzed advertising at Kyiv Countrywide Financial College, and completed a quick-term method at the Harvard Kennedy College.

Beginning in 2006, Kubrakov held several positions at telecommunications company Kyivstar, climbing to the head of advertising and marketing.

From 2011 to 2015, he served Kyiv mayor Oleksandr Popov, and afterward, Vitali Klitschko, as an IT advisor. Kubrakov executed an electronic document administration method in the mayor’s office and worked with the Planet Bank on a system for the improvement of the Kyiv transport procedure.

From 2016 to 2019 he acted as head of the telecommunications and IT sector at the Superior Regulation Shipping and delivery Place of work below the management of Oleksiy Honcharuk, the upcoming  prime minister.

Then from 2019 to 2021 Kubrakov was head of the Condition Highway Agency of Ukraine.

In the course of his tenure there, in Might 2020, the anti-corruption team Bihus.data accused Kubrakov and his staff of proscribing cost-free competition in the road development market and of artificially inflating development price ranges.

On Might 26, 2020, the information application “Our Cash with Denis Bigus” was dedicated to an investigation of the road agency and quite a few highway constructions corporations: Onur, Avtomagistral-Pivden, and Rostdorstroy.

Kubrakov, referred to as the story bogus and blamed the journalists for discrediting him. Beneath force he handed around records of the agency to the Safety Services of Ukraine.

Minister Kubrakov has been recognized for the prosperous implementation of the grain arrangement unblocking the Odesa ports of the Black Sea.

On July 22, 2022, the grain agreement was signed in Istanbul in between Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, and the UN for the export of grain and other agricultural products and solutions.

As of Nov. 14, 456 vessels have left the ports of Odesa, exporting 10.7 million tons of Ukrainian food stuff to Asia, Europe and Africa.
