Russians shell five communities of Sumy region Friday

Russian troops launched 79 mines, projectiles, and other munitions on the territories of Sumy region bordering Russia.

That’s according to the head of the Sumy Regional Navy Administration, Dmytro Zhivytskyi, Ukrinform stories.

The invaders shelled the Seredyna Buda group 4 instances: 16 mortar mines and 20 grenades were fired.

The enemy fired artillery at the Mykolaivska group – four hits had been verified. The Russians opened mortar fire at the Khotynska group, launching 31 mines, also dropping two bombs from a drone.

According to Zhyvytskyi, a few enemy mines exploded in the communities of Bilopillia.
