Russian forces might not have enough qualified staff and drones to monitor defensive minefields in briefly occupied Ukrainian territories.
That’s according to the British Defense Ministry citing intelligence data, Ukrinform studies.
“Minefields only present an helpful obstacle for experienced troops if protected by observation and fireplace. A key obstacle for the Russian forces will very likely be a scarcity of surveillance assets and trained staff to successfully monitor substantial parts of the new minefields,” British intelligence says.
