Russian outrage grows after strike kills dozens of troops in Ukraine

Koffler’s opinions come as Russian nationalists and even some lawmakers have demanded punishment for military commanders, according to a Reuters report Tuesday, accusing navy leaders of ignoring the risks of hosting troops in the vicinity of a storage facility that was an noticeable target for a Ukrainian strike.

Koffler believes the setback is not likely to dissuade Russia from continuing to set troops at risk, arguing that the country’s lifestyle prioritizes the collective above personal troopers.
