Latvia donates ten buses to Kyiv

10 fashionable metropolis buses still left Riga for Kyiv on Tuesday, January 10.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko claimed this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reviews.

“This is guidance from our Latvian close friends. The buses are also delivering humanitarian aid collected by Latvian citizens. The delegation to Kyiv is headed by the Chairman of the Latvian Saeima, Edvards Smiltens,” he wrote.

Late in April final 12 months, Smiltens, then the vice mayor of Riga, visited the Ukrainian funds and handed around 11 buses and humanitarian support from Riga, Klitschko explained.

He noted that all the buses that Kyiv obtained at that time are working on the routes of the funds.

Before, Kyiv gained a few passenger buses from the Finnish metropolis of Tampere, which also contained humanitarian help gathered for the Ukrainian funds by the Tampere authorities and Finnish citizens.
