EU Superior Representative Josep Borrell and European Council President Charles Michel have been stunned by the atrocities dedicated by Russian troops in Kyiv Region and promised to guide Ukraine in collecting of important evidence for pursuit in intercontinental courts.
The appropriate statement was manufactured by EU Substantial Agent Josep Borrell on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Shocked by news of atrocities dedicated by Russian forces. EU helps Ukraine in documenting war crimes. All circumstances need to be pursued, namely by the International Court docket of Justice (ICJ),” Borrell wrote.
European Council President Charles Michel also noted he was “shocked by haunting illustrations or photos of atrocities dedicated by Russian military in Kyiv liberated region” and confident Kyiv authorities of Brussels’ support in collecting of required evidence to convey Russia to justice in global courts.
“Further EU sanctions and support are on their way,” Michel extra.
Previously, following the massacre of civilians by Russians in Bucha, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba demanded that the Team of Seven promptly impose new devastating sanctions against Russia.
