“This botched election should not be certified!” This is from election denier Kari Lake. You know what? I have a theory. That theory is that election denial can potentially drive the denier insane. Insanity is undoubtedly present in Kari Lake. The Lake has flooded, and nobody is throwing her a life jacket.

Lake is finding herself increasingly alone as she vainly struggles to be heard. Hateful statement after hateful statement has poured from her mouth. But you know what? She has sort of become persona non grata.

Most networks aren’t touching this smoldering pile of poo that is Lake’s election denial. A few pundits mentioned it to laugh at her. Even Fox is (mostly) staying away from it. Where does that leave Lake?

It leaves her one fry short of a happy meal. Kerri Lake has blown what could have been a promising political career to wallow in the hubris of her own mistakes. It’s really rather sad.

Arizona has a new governor-elect, and that is Katie Hobbs. In the meantime, the jealousy, the anger, the aching envy — of Lake is on display for all to see. And most are mocking her for it. Jokes are beginning to pop up against her. Witness this one from the New Yorker: “Kari Lake storms out of Thanksgiving after losing battle for wishbone.”

It is pathetic. But it is no less than Lake deserves. This is all being fueled by the sin of envy. Lake’s envy is her very undoing. Unless or until she can get a handle on it, she will go down in history as the joke of 2022.
