Since Independent Kyrsten Sinema decided to grab the spotlight by leaving the Democratic party, she’s been speaking out. But others are speaking out as well – against the Senator. One of them is a former friend of hers by the name of David Schapira.

Schapira gave an interview with the Daily Beast and revealed that, in his opinion, Sinema’s grasping and needy desire for attention might be behind her latest move.

Schapira recounted an interesting story of how at one time, he was thinking about a run for the U.S. House of Representatives. Sinema, however, asked him to stall the run — because she wanted that seat for herself. However, it’s what she promised him in return for not running that has tongues wagging.

Sinema reportedly told her “friend” that if he would hold off on running and let her have the seat, she’d only serve for four years and then help him nab her seat.

She told him the reason she’d only serve one term was that she was too ambitious to stay, and remaining “a mere House member” was not for her. A “mere house member?” He also claims she told him the following:

“If the most important thing I ever do is serve in the U.S. House, I’ll be disappointed.” Wow. If these statements are true, they certainly expose Sinema as the liar she is. Schapira said her comments “shocked” him but also revealed her for who she is.

“All she cares about is how relevant she is — what her level of notoriety is,” he said. Since leaving the Democratic party, Sinema has taken a lot of incoming. I don’t blame people for being upset. It’s far too early to know what will happen in 2024. But it isn’t too early to make a bit of a prediction.

I think this will be the woman’s only term in office. I do know the popularity of senators can come back. Ron Johnson was looking at historically bad approval numbers, but he managed to keep his seat in Wisconsin. I suppose Sinema could do the same.

I don’t think so, though. And the reason I do not think so is that the “Senator” has alienated EVERYBODY. I doubt Arizonians will forget. She has burned many bridges and shattered the trust of so many I do not see a comeback in her future.

However, what I do see are a few more attention-getting antics in the future. Grabbing the spotlight seems to be far more important to Sinema than giving a damn about her own voters.
