It just doesn’t end for the GOP. Remember Lindsey Graham’s prophesy of destruction? That the party would be destroyed if they rallied around Donald Trump? That certainly is playing out, is it not? And now, friends and readers, I give you the latest GOP shitshow to hit the presses: Mike Lindell.

You already know he is running for Republican Chair. He is also believed to be paying much of Kari Lake’s legal bills. Mike Lindell is sort of like Jaws. Just when you thought it was safe, Lindell has decided to challenge the election results and even says he is dispatching a “team” to do just that.

Not OUR election results. Oh, no, no, no, dear readers. I’m sorry if I gave you the wrong idea. No, Mike Lindell is challenging Ron DeSantis’ win. Governor DeSantis. Of Florida. You just can’t make this shit up. You really, really cannot. Lindell explained that he does not believe Dade County in Florida would ever vote for a Republican.

He does not believe it happened. “I am going after Dade County,” Lindell said. Stop laughing, readers. This is serious. Lindell wants to save the Florida election, which he thinks went unfairly to Ron DeSantis.

“For me, I look at deviations,” Mad Mike explained. “That’s a deviation. Normally, republicans don’t win that county,” Lindell thundered. “I don’t believe it,” he added, presumably referring to the election results from Dade county.

“I’m going to find out in Dade County what happened there,” the Lone Ranger vowed.

When I first heard about this story, I thought it was fake. Delightfully it turned out not to be. I do think Mike Lindell should look into this. Now, WE are not election deniers. We accept the outcomes of free and fair elections.

But we also believe in freedom. We believe in the right to swim with sharks (I have “Jaws” on my mind now) and build sand castles. We believe in the right to shovel snow when it accumulates in our yards and to choose whatever pillow we feel like to lay our heads on, including myPillows.

And we believe in the right of ANY insane person to chase down non-existent fake election leads. So I look forward to Mr. Lindell following through on his promise and letting us know what he finds. I also look forward to the groans of anguish that are no doubt coming from many a Republican right now.
