In violation of the Conference respecting the Legislation and Customs of War on Land, Russian troops are continuously shelling household properties in Ukraine on a each day basis.
The applicable assertion was produced by Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent experiences.
“Russians are shelling Ukraine’s residential buildings on a day-to-day basis. The Conference respecting the Regulations and Customs of War on Land prohibits the assault or bombardment of cities, villages, dwellings, or properties which are undefended. But the occupiers don’t treatment,” Reznikov wrote.
The Convention respecting the Regulations and Customs of War on Land was endorsed at the intercontinental conference in The Hague in 1907. Russia ratified and joined the Convention in 1909.
A reminder that, on December 24, 2022, Russian troops yet again struck downtown Kherson. At the very least 8 civilians have been noted killed and 58 wounded.
