  • The 2023 NFC Championship game will air January 29 at 3 p.m. ET on Fox.
  • The Philadelphia Eagles will host the San Francisco 49ers in a meeting of the top-seeded NFC teams.
  • You can stream the game on any live TV service with Fox, or via NFL+ on your phone.

The NFC Championship game will feature the San Francisco 49ers visiting the Philadelphia Eagles, with the winner earning a spot in Super Bowl LVII. Fox will broadcast the game live starting at 3 p.m. ET on January 29.

Philadelphia finished the season with the best record in the NFC and reached the NFC Championship game with an impressive win over their division-rival New York Giants. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has been recovering from a shoulder injury he suffered on December 18 but will continue to lead the team during their playoff run.

San Francisco has been relying on rookie Brock Purdy after losing two starting quarterbacks during the season. Purdy was the absolute last pick in the 2022 draft but has been undefeated in eight straight games as the 49ers starter. The 49ers last went to the Super Bowl during the 2019-20 season under current coach Kyle Shanahan and lost last year’s NFC Championship game to the Los Angeles Rams.

How to watch the NFC Championship game without cable

You can watch the NFC Championship game on Fox at 3 p.m. ET on January 29. Fox is free to watch on broadcast TV with an antenna, and the channel is also available with several live TV streaming services.

If you have a cable or satellite TV provider you can log in to watch the game on Fox.com or with the Fox app. You can also subscribe to a live TV streaming service like YouTube TV, Sling TV, FuboTV, or Hulu + Live TV to watch the NFC Championship game on Fox. Sling TV’s Blue plan is the cheapest option of the bunch at $40 a month, and you can get 50% off your first month.

If you only want to stream the NFC Championship on your phone or tablet, NFL+ offers streaming on mobile devices for $5 a month. You won’t be able to cast the game to a TV, but it’s the most affordable option for watching on the go.

When is this year’s Super Bowl?

Super Bowl LVII is set for February 12; kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET on Fox. The game will be played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the home field of the Cardinals.
