A Romanian barge with tonnes tons of Ukrainian wheat, which was to be exported to the EU, has sunk in the port of Reni on the Danube River in the Odesa location.
That’s in accordance to the Romanian tv channel Stirile Pro-Tv set, Ukrinform reports.
According to the shipowner, during the loading functions, h2o begun getting into the engine room.
The crew, 5 Romanian sailors, could not reduce the lead to of the leak and protect against the incident, so they experienced to go away the barge. No one was hurt in the course of the incident.
The boat belongs to a Romanian enterprise based in Constanța.
