Poughkeepsie is the end of the train line. It’s about a 2 hour train ride to get all the way up there from Grand Central. If you like walking, there’s a bridge that you can walk across the Hudson River on, The Walkway over the Hudson. It’s got beautiful views of the river, nicely paved, and less than a half mile walk from the train station.
