There are relatively few of us private sellers left. There’s a lot of risk and nuance to buying and selling cars on the street. Ironically services have developed that take all the risk and hassle from both sellers and buyers, at fees I consider reasonable. But the industry has a bootstrap problem since sellers need buyers to participate and buyers need sellers.
