Type mmsys.cpl and click OK to open Sound settings. Go to Recording tab, you need to right-click any empty place in the windows and check Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices options. Right-click the Microphone and select Enable. Right-click it again and choose Set as Default Device. Then click Apply and then OK.
