Why keep Toyota flanges on the Atlas if you’re going GM on the drivetrain and one-ton underneath in the future? Easier in the short term while keeping Toyota axles? I was also wondering why you were going with the 4L60 when I read the thread title, but you covered that nicely. At least you’re more reasonable than most and realize it’ll blow.
