Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa is expected to request the extradition of former president Bashar al-Assad to face trial for crimes against the Syrian people during his meeting with Vladimir Putin in Moscow today, a Reuters source reported.
Al-Sharaa will also discuss the continued operation of Russiaās naval base in Tartus and the Hmeimim airbase.
