He started me on 15mg prednisone, which only took the edge off the pain, but it helped. I’m 73 years old, 6’3″ and 245#. I’ve been increased to 25mg prednisone starting today. I was told that the dosage and tapering off was an 18 month process. I’m hoping that 25mg does it for me but also worried that it won’t.
