GiclĆ©e (/ ŹiĖĖkleÉŖ / zhee-KLAY) describes digital prints intended as fine art and produced by inkjet printers. [1] The term is a neologism, ultimately derived from the French word gicleur, coined in 1991 by printmaker Jack Duganne.
